Dow Inc., Exxon Mobil share losses contribute to Dow's 339-point drop

Dragged down by negative returns for shares of Dow Inc. and Exxon Mobil, the Dow Jones Industrial Average is in selloff mode Wednesday afternoon. The DowDJIAwas most recently trading 339 points lower (-1.4%), as shares of Dow Inc.DOWand Exxon MobilXOMhave contributed to the index's intraday decline. Dow Inc.'s shares are off $3.08 (8.7%) while those of Exxon Mobil have declined $2.16 (5.1%), combining for a roughly 36-point drag on the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the decline are Walgreens BootsWBA,TravelersTRV,and JPMorgan ChaseJPM.A $1 move in any of the index's 30 components results in a 6.86-point swing.
